An unknown trader earned about $2 million on a meme coin on the Solana network. At the same time, the user initially invested 1 SOL ($62 at that time) into the asset.
On December 5, 2023, a trader purchased 43 million SILLY five minutes after the opening of trading for the token. The purchase of the asset cost him 1 SOL, and the total amount of funds in the user’s account at that moment was only 1.5 SOL.
A few days later, the trader sold 33.34 million SILLY for $528,000. Thus, 9.76 million SILLY remained in his crypto wallet. At the time of writing, the asset is trading at $0.1396, and the trader has $1.4 million in funds remaining at his disposal.
Some social media users believe this is an insider deal. In their opinion, the trader could not have carried out such a successful transaction without access to classified information. At the same time, some users are confident that the developer of the Silly Dragon memcoin is behind operations with digital assets.
The mentioned token was created after Solana CEO Anatoly Yakovenko wrote a post on the social network X dedicated to the coming year 2024. He called it the year of the “stupid dragon.”
Previously, another trader made a similar deal, who managed to earn more than 5.7 million on another memcoin on the Solana network. We are talking about a user who bought 16 billion ANALOS for 30 SOL.
Let's remember that we wrote that an early investor in Aave earned over $15 million from an initial investment of $500,000.
