Kirilenko did not indicate in the declaration either the area or the cost of the apartment, just as he did not mention the BMW car
An investigation from Schemes revealed this: the family of the head of the Antimonopoly Committee, Pavel Kirilenko, has acquired real estate and cars worth more than 70 million hryvnia over the past three years. Interestingly, the ownership of this property was hidden under the names of his wife's relatives.
The investigation began with the study of one living space, where, as it turned out, the head of the Antimonopoly Committee Pavel Kirilenko and his family live.
He previously claimed that he did not live there, but in his 2023 declaration he indicated it as his place of residence. Why is this place so interesting?
This is a 4-room apartment of 200 square meters in Kyiv worth 6.2 million hryvnia, registered in the name of the 77-year-old grandmother of Kirilenko’s wife, Albina Vinnikova.
According to journalists, the Kirilenko family has been living in this apartment since at least 2020, despite the absence of any indication of it in the official’s previous declarations.
Kirilenko did not indicate in the declaration either the area or the cost of the apartment, just as he did not mention the BMW car that his family uses. Although earlier he claimed that he “didn’t care” about the car either.
Thus, the Kirilenko family owns real estate, including land plots and apartments in Kyiv and Uzhgorod, as well as cars, including two crossovers. The main question arises: where does the money come from?
The official explains the wealth in the family with the start-up capital formed in the 90s through the sale of shares in the Stirol plant. However, journalists were unable to find confirmation of this version.
