In Transcarpathia, border guards detained a 29-year-old resident of Kolomyia, who tried to illegally cross the border for the fourth time. The man has already tested the reliability of border security in the Odessa region twice and arrived in Transcarpathia with similar intentions.

A dodger was stopped while trying to swim across the deep-water Tisa using an inflatable mattress. It was noted that the reckless traveler, who is short in stature, even put on a child's pink hat in an attempt to look like a child.

They plan to prosecute the man for illegally crossing the state border, which could lead to a fine or administrative arrest.

In total, over the weekend, border guards of the Mukachevo detachment stopped 13 attempts to violate the border, as a result of which 22 violators were detained.

The attackers mainly tried to cross the border on the Ukrainian-Hungarian section. Border patrols from the Luzhanka and Vilok departments detained 13 people. Another 9 were discovered and detained by squads from the “Dіlove”, “Yablonovka” and “Tyachev” departments.

The offenders were prosecuted under Article 204-1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses “Illegal crossing or attempted illegal crossing of the state border of Ukraine.”

Recently, guys aged 15 and 16 were exposed, who were not only guides, they also had bolt cutters that could be used to make a passage through the security fence.
