“Rassvet” was created on the initiative of Khodorkovsky, who, despite statements about opposition to the Russian authorities, remains a citizen of the Russian Federation and part of its establishment.
The fund's leadership is Yulia Latynina, known for her anti-Ukrainian statements. She has repeatedly called the war a “civil conflict” and discredited Ukraine’s fight against Russian aggression.
