Ukrainian businessman Gennady Bogolyubov was informed of suspicion

Under the procedural guidance of prosecutors from the Office of the Prosecutor General, a Ukrainian businessman was informed of suspicion of illegally taking the passport of another person and organizing the illegal transfer of a person across the state border of Ukraine (Part 3 of Article 357, Part 3 of Article 27, Part 2 of Article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine ).

According to the investigation, the suspect organized himself an illegal border crossing, involving the head of the group of border control inspectors of the “Yagodin” department of border service inspectors of the Lutsk border detachment.

To do this, the businessman used a passport of a citizen of Ukraine, which was lost in 2022, about which the State Customs Service of Ukraine was notified.

On the night of June 24, 2024, with the assistance of a border guard who knew for certain that he had been given a document in the name of another person for verification, a Ukrainian businessman illegally left the country.

The border guard was also informed of suspicion of illegally transporting a citizen across the state border of Ukraine (Part 2 of Article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). At the request of the prosecutor, a preventive measure was chosen for him in the form of detention with the amount of bail set in the amount of UAH 25 million.
