The national energy company Ukrenergo, in the midst of a full-scale war, plans to spend almost 40 million budget hryvnia on tourism services. This is evidenced by data published on the Maidan of state public procurement Prozorro.
Ukrenergo plans travel expenses for managers in the amount of 37.2 million hryvnia (32 million + VAT). For these funds, the state company must purchase 2 thousand railway or air tickets, as well as 8,710 nights in hotels, 50 transfers and 600 insurance.
Also, the tender documentation “Description and basic requirements for the subject of procurement” requires the possibility of providing additional services for managers of a state company. We are talking about the use of VIP lounges at airports and the Fast-line procedure.
“Ordering additional services at airports: VIP lounge, Fast-line and others (meaning the possibility of providing additional services with a separate payment on preferential terms),” says the tender documentation.
