Ukrposhta will spend almost 82 million to launch a money transfer system during the war: people protest

The national postal operator has announced a tender to launch its own money transfer system, which will cost about 82 million hryvnia.

According to information in the Prozorro public procurement system, the winner of the tender was Profix Company LLC, which agreed to fulfill the order of Ukrposhta for UAH 81.75 million, although the expected cost was slightly higher.

The system will allow you to register, make payments, manage postal orders, accept and receive payments in favor of third parties, as well as pay social benefits and subsidies.

The amount includes the cost of various works that are needed to launch the system, in particular:

  • development of software “Profix Urgent Transfer System” – UAH 10.50 million;
  • finalizing the payment system to meet the customer’s needs – UAH 28.80 million;
  • five-year technical support for the software product and system updates – UAH 18 million;
  • further technical support consulting (after 5 years) – UAH 8.16 million;
  • modification of software according to individual customer requests - UAH 16.29 million.

It is worth noting that Ukrainians were not too pleased with such spending during the war. They have already written complaints to the State Audit Service and demanded that the money be directed to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
