The State Security Administration of Ukraine purchased a pair of Land Cruiser Prado SUVs at a price of 2 million hryvnia each

On November 15, the State Security Administration of Ukraine, as a result of a tender, entered into an agreement with Grand Motor LLC for the purchase of cars in the amount of 3.97 million hryvnia.

This is reported in the Prozorro system.

Until December 20, two specialized vehicles based on the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 2.8 L 6A/T SUV in the Comfort configuration, produced in 2023, will be delivered for UAH 1.98 million. Specialized equipment will include loud-speaking alarm devices, seven flashing beacons, a protective radiator mesh and a camouflage film covering the interior windows.

In showrooms, the Comfort package without specialized equipment costs from UAH 1.82 million.

The all-wheel drive vehicle has a 2.8-liter diesel engine and an automatic transmission. It will have various safety systems, front and side airbags for the driver and front passenger, a driver's knee airbag, protective side curtains, a rear view camera, cruise control, climate control, and electric mirrors. Also provided are metal protection for the engine crankcase and main transmission components and winter tires.

Khmelnitsky “Grand Motor” belongs to Tatiana Dereshuk and Maria Gvozdeva, who used to be the mayor of Krasiliv in the Khmelnytsky region. The company was founded in 2006 by ex-people's deputy from the Petro Poroshenko Bloc party Mikhail Gvozdev. The director is Angela Skarlos.
