Two defensive lines are being created in the Chernihiv region

RegioNews reports this with reference to the Telegram of the commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Sergei Naev.

“Today in the Chernihiv region, as well as in the entire Northern operational zone, the situation is stable and controlled,” Naev wrote.

As the commander said, in the most dangerous directions, the lines and positions of the first and second defense lines are being equipped at full speed.

“We are preparing for resistance and, together with the Chernihiv regional military administration, we are taking measures to strengthen our defense,” Naev noted.

According to him, if the threat grows, additional forces will arrive at the prepared lines, and Ukrainian soldiers will be ready to adequately respond to any development of the situation.

Let us remind you that, despite the change in weather conditions on the Ukrainian-Belarusian border , units of the State National Security Service continue to build barriers: reinforced concrete, metal mesh and barbed wire of the “egoza” type, and in threatening directions - mine-explosive ones. Anti-tank ditches are being dug throughout the area and anti-tank pyramids are being installed.
