It is noted that law enforcement officers exposed individuals who illegally produced and sold fuel in the Dnepropetrovsk region.
Sales of diesel and gasoline of the A-95 and A-92 brands took place through a network of gas stations.
“EBB detectives conducted 8 searches in the city of Krivoy Rog. On the territory of one of the gas station networks there were no permits, fuel quality certificates and documents on its origin,” the department noted.
In addition, at some gas stations there were no cash registers and operators worked without official registration.
As a result of the searches, BEB employees seized more than 35 tons of counterfeit fuel. Its estimated cost is more than 2 million hryvnia.
“Currently, the full circle of persons involved in the production and distribution of counterfeit goods is being established,” the BEB emphasized.
