On Tuesday, December 29, in a forest area near the village of Olkhovatka in the Savinskaya community of the Izyum district, an incident occurred when a man was blown up by a petal-type anti-personnel mine. The State Emergency Service is informed about this.
A 44-year-old man was hospitalized with a leg injury.
Rescuers urge citizens to be as careful as possible and remember the mine danger. This is especially true for residents of de-occupied territories.
If you see a suspicious object, it is strictly prohibited:
- touch an object and move it;
- use radio communications and mobile phones (they can cause an explosion);
- fill it with liquids, cover it with soil or cover it with something;
- touch a suspicious device and apply sound, light, heat or mechanical influence on it, because almost all explosives are poisonous and sensitive to mechanical, sound and heat.
If you find a suspicious item, report your find to 101 or 102.
