According to the investigation, doctors developed an illegal scheme to earn money through assistance in obtaining disability.
The paramedic organized a search for citizens who intended to receive a disability group. The doctor registered “clients” for inpatient treatment in the neurological department and prepared medical documents without their actual stay. In the future, this became the basis for establishing disability groups.
The price of “services” ranged from $3,600 to $7,800.
Law enforcement officers detained the paramedic while receiving funds.
During the searches, 182 thousand dollars, more than 6,500 euros, which is equivalent to almost 8 million hryvnia, as well as black notes, medical documentation and mobile phones were seized from the businessmen.
The man was chosen as a preventive measure in the form of detention with the possibility of posting bail. The petition regarding another defendant is currently under consideration in court. The involvement of MSEC employees in the crime is also being verified.
