In Kyiv, metro stations on the “green” line suffer from flooding

The Kyiv metro is trying to cope with the problem of water leakage at the Vyrlitsa station, which is causing concern among local residents.

After the situation with the “blue” line on December 8 (flooding of the Demeevskaya metro station with water), more and more new reports began to arrive about water in tunnels and at stations. Thus, a video appeared in the Truha.Kiev of how water began to leak from the slabs and ceiling at the Vyrlitsa station.

This could probably have happened due to the large amount of precipitation and poor quality of the structures. However, Kiev residents write that such leakage at the station has been occurring since the opening.

Before this, Kiev residents published a video with a similar situation at the Goloseevskaya metro station. In the passage there was a noticeable amount of water pouring out of the walls. Kiev residents express concern about this situation, pointing out the possible consequences and the need for operational measures.

After the events in the metro tunnels, Kiev residents demand attention and immediate measures to solve and prevent similar problems in the future.

Let us remind you that on December 8, the metro tunnel between Lybidskaya and Demeevskaya was flooded in the capital . The corresponding video appeared on social networks. The police began to investigate one of the main versions of the reason for the shutdown of six metro stations in Kiev - official negligence.

Meanwhile, expert at the Urban Institute Alexander Sergienko expressed the opinion that the metro suffered due to the activities of city developers and authorities. Later, residents of the area received a message that shopping pavilions began to sink underground above the metro tunnel near the former Demeevsky market.

The Kyiv Metro Police Department responded to this, reporting on the security measures being taken to prevent the situation . At the same time, the company decided to conduct a survey of the metro bridge and other stations.
