The Ministry of Defense did not notice where 1 billion UAH disappeared

With the permission of Marina Bezrukova, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will purchase the Shmel-4.5.0 UAV from a company that sells drones at much higher prices than on the market

In Ukraine, the war is forcing not only ordinary Ukrainians to rebuild. Businesses also suffer losses in various areas. Companies that previously traded grain and food products have retrained as production bases for the production of UAVs.

However, to whom is war, and to whom is easy money. But first things first. Information has emerged that the director of the Defense Procurement Agency, Marina Bezrukova, approved the purchase of the Shmel-4.5.0 UAV at inflated prices from the company Yasno 2022, which previously sold animal feed.

This became known thanks to information in one of the popular Ukrainian news Telegram channels.

One of the suppliers of drones for the Armed Forces of Ukraine is the Odessa manufacturer of the Shmel-4.5.0 UAV Sevlyush Avia. The company successfully supplied drones throughout 2023, until the director of the Department of Military-Technical Policy of the Ministry of Defense, Toomas Nakhur, was removed from office in connection with corruption charges of $1.5 billion.

The latter approved the company's technical documentation, which allowed it to supply drones. However, later the owner of the company, Sergei Andreevich Yukhimovich, decided to suddenly change the legal entity.

Thus, the company “Yasno 2022”, which was not previously engaged in production activities, but traded in animal feed, and did not make a good profit, but in some strange way had UAH 2.8 million in its account, at the beginning of 2024 bought the rights to release UAV "Shmel-4.5.0".

Having organized a new enterprise, Yukhimovich continued to try to profit from the supply of drones, as evidenced by the commercial offer, where the price per unit of goods significantly exceeds the actual cost of production. The total cost of the overstatement is UAH 1 billion.

Despite the blatant fact of corruption, the director of the Defense Procurement Agency, Marina Bezrukova, approved the purchase of UAVs from Yasno 2022 LLC.

It is noteworthy that the Shmel-4.5.0 UAV was developed by Dmitry Kholyavko, who is also the director of Sevlyush Avia LLC, and more recently, probably also of Yasno 2022 LLC.

By the way, Kholyavko even created a school to train test pilots on Shmel-4.5.0. Two weeks of training will cost 15 thousand UAH, however, judging by the reviews, for this money you will not have an instructor with you, and all pilots are given a single 4-inch training drone and one remote control for all.

At the end of the so-called courses, you will be given a certificate of completion with excellent marks, but with zero knowledge.
