As a result of an unexpected inspection, the Gambling and Lotteries Regulatory Commission revealed violations on the part of the Ukr Game Technology company, which holds the license to operate Pin-Up casinos in Ukraine.
This is stated in the decision of KRAIL No. 497 of December 14.
The commission will apply financial sanctions to Pin-UP, the amount of which is not specified. The KRAIL decision also does not indicate a specific reason for the punishment.
However, it states that Ukr Game Technology LLC violated the requirements of the law “On State Regulation of Activities for the Organization and Conduct of Gambling,” namely, Part 2 of Article 17, which deals with the specifics of identification (verification) of players.
The violations were discovered during an unscheduled inspection initiated on the basis of an electronic complaint from citizens.
A violation may become the basis for further submission of a proposal to cancel the licenses of Ukr Game Technology LLC.
Let us remind you that on August 1, 2023, KRAIL officially announced the connection between the Pin-UP online casino and the Russian Federation. Then we were talking about both legal entities operating in Ukraine under the Pin-UP brand - Ukr Game Technology LLC and Victoria Soft LLC.
The basis was a letter from the Security Service of Ukraine, which contained relevant information.
On August 8, KRAIL canceled the license of one of the two Pin-UP legal entities in Ukraine - Victoria Soft LLC - precisely through the connections established by the SBU with the Russian Federation.
The company tried to challenge this decision, but on November 13, the Ukrainian court recognized the actions of KRAIL and the SBU as completely legal.
Regarding Ukr Game Technology LLC, the decision to cancel the license based on the SBU letter on connections with Russia has not been made as of mid-December.
