In the capital, drug dealers were exposed with cocaine worth 4 million hryvnia in Mercedes

In Kyiv, law enforcement officers detained four people suspected of trafficking cocaine for a total amount of about 4 million hryvnia. According to the Shevchenko District Prosecutor's Office, suspicions have been brought against three men and one woman for organizing the sale of drugs.

This was reported by the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office.

The investigation established that the suspects were selling cocaine from hand to hand in Kyiv. During the investigation, five operational purchases and several searches were carried out, as a result of which more than half a kilogram of cocaine, packaging and weighing equipment, as well as rough records were seized. The value of the seized drugs on the black market is more than 4 million hryvnia.

The two suspects were driving luxury cars. One of them, trying to avoid arrest, hid from the police in a Mercedes GLA 250, causing several accidents and damaging a police car and several other cars. The body of an RGN grenade and a UDO type fuse (new model) were also confiscated from him. He was charged with additional suspicion for storing ammunition (Part 1 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Three suspects were given a preventive measure in the form of detention, one was given 24-hour house arrest. The sanction of the articles provides for up to 12 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property.

The exposure of criminal activity was carried out through the joint efforts of prosecutors, law enforcement officers of the Shevchenko police department, the department for combating drug crime, analysts, special forces and canine service.
