The Supreme Court will spend 6 million hryvnia from the budget on elevator repairs

During the ongoing war in Ukraine, the Supreme Court announced a tender for the repair of elevators in its administrative building. This caused confusion as to whether it was right to spend 6 million hryvnia from the state budget on such work at such a time.

As part of the tender, many different tasks are planned to be carried out, including demolition of floor coverings, installation of new screeds and plasterboard wall coverings, as well as laying electrical pipes and much more.

The amount for work is 6,265,872 hryvnia, which will be allocated from budget funds.

The contractor is obliged to guarantee that the construction project meets all the requirements of the design documentation and the possibility of its operation for 10 years after transfer to the customer. The work will be carried out on A. Kopilenko Street, 6 in Kyiv, the completion date is December 20, 2024.

The date of publication of the tender is July 17, 2024, and the deadline for submitting tender proposals is August 1, 2024. The auction is also scheduled to begin on August 1, 2024.

At such a critical period for the country, when funds are needed for defense and support of people, significant sums are allocated for the repair of elevators in administrative buildings. However, the argument is that keeping government agencies running is important at all times.
