The Kyiv City State Administration plans to transfer a number of architectural monuments for development, including the house on Proriznaya, 25a, which is located in the buffer zone of Sofia Kievskaya
In addition, they want to give away for development:
- Andrey Vavrysh - Rodina House, 1882, on the street. Gonchara, 71 (Arix LLC, clause 7, section 3.13.4);
- Gatehouse of the Kikh Estate, 1881 on the street. Franko, 28 (change of purpose of paragraph 3, section 3.10);
- Buildings of a former weaving factory, 1885 on Malevich, 86 - to Vagifa Aliyev (VMG Center LLC, clause 13, Section 3.13.4);
- ancient cemetery on Olegovskaya, 36 - to Vadim Stolar (Adamans LLC, clause 5, Section 3.8);
- archeological monument on Kirillovskaya, 123 - ancient settlement "Syrets" for parking (PJSC "Kiev Vitamin Plant", item 16, Section 3.13.4)
The most famous monument from the list is Proriznaya 25a. It officially has a protected status and the Department for the Protection of Cultural Heritage of the Kyiv City State Administration did not give permission to demolish the house on Proriznaya Street, 25A. And despite this, they want to transfer the house for the construction of an office center and parking lot. This is simply called “restoration”, and then, when the building is destroyed, they open criminal proceedings, which drag on for months, and then they close it.
And further. Despite the arrest imposed by the Kyiv prosecutor's office, the historical Malin Estate is being dismantled.
According to activist Dmitry Perov, they want to start new construction in its place.
It turns out that local residents had previously reported the sounds of construction work coming from inside the building, although the main entrance to it was closed.
“Today we noticed that instead of the inner wall” there was a black tarpaulin, the activist noted.
