Restoration of the DneproHPP will last decades

The largest hydraulic structure in Ukraine is in need of major repairs. But the proximity of the front prevents the implementation of plans and plans.

This was stated disappointingly by the current general director of the Ukrhydroenergo company, Mr. Igor Sirota. This week, he, accompanied by parliamentarians and specialists, visited the Dnieper hydroelectric power station in Zaporozhye.

According to him, it will take years, or at most decades, to restore the energy facility (namely, generation capacities). As of today, there is a question of increasing the efficiency and safety of the station.

“Restoring the DneproHPP after the devastating rocket attacks from Russia is our priority. This is critically important to ensure a stable and reliable power supply throughout Ukraine. We are making every effort to speed up this process, because we understand the role the station played in the United Energy System,” emphasized Igor Sirota.

Meanwhile, as the media agency previously reported, enemy KABs and FABs are getting closer to the free Ukrainian Zaporozhye. Bridges, houses, roads in Gulyai-Polye and Orekhov are under enemy attacks.
