BP supported increasing fines for evaders

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted in the second reading bill No. 10379 on tightening liability for military offenses.

256 people's deputies voted for the adoption of the document. “Against” – not a single vote. Abstained – 4.

The document sets out Articles 210 and 201-1 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses in a new edition and significantly increases fines for evaders.

The document introduces concepts such as violation, repeated violation and violation during martial law. Accordingly, fines under Art. 210 relating to military records will be:

  • in peacetime – from 3,400 to 5,100 hryvnia
  • in wartime (or repeated violation) - from 17,000 to 25,500 hryvnia.

Violation of the legislation on defense and mobilization in peacetime will be punished:

  • for citizens – from 5,100 to 8,500 hryvnia
  • for officials and legal entities – from 17,000 to 34,000 hryvnia.
  • For evading mobilization in wartime:
  • for citizens – from 17,000 to 25,500 hryvnia
  • for officials and legal entities – from 34,000 to 59,000 hryvnia.

The new fines will come into force the next day after the promulgation of the law, which must still be signed by the President of Ukraine.

At the same time, the provisions of Art. 210 and 210-1 do not apply if the TCC can obtain personal data from electronic state registers.

Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine published a list of diseases with which men liable for military service are considered fit for service.

The Ministry of Defense said that according to the new changes in the order on the Military Military Commission, when determining the suitability or unsuitability of a person liable for military service, not only his illnesses will be taken into account, but also the dysfunction of the body that these diseases led to.
