A high-ranking KGVA official was removed from office due to his assistance in evading military service

The official helped four local deputies make a fictitious business trip.

Based on the materials of the SBI and the prosecutor’s petition, the Pechersky District Court of Kyiv until February 1, 2024 suspended the head of the apparatus of the Kyiv City Military Administration, who was exposed for assisting the capital’s deputies in evading military service.

The press service of the State Bureau of Investigation reported this .

According to the investigation, the official helped arrange a fake “business trip” for three city deputies and one of their assistants . It is noteworthy that the commander of one of the military units of the terrorist defense , where they were supposed to serve in mobilization, was also involved in the illegal “scheme.

Note: although the defendants in the case did not report for military service for almost a year, they still received monetary allowances .

“In August 2023, all four were informed of suspicion of evasion of military service duties, committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy (part 4 of article 409, part 2 of article 28 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). On December 22, the SBI reported suspicion under the same articles to a high-ranking official of the KMVA, who contributed to the registration of a fake business trip,” law enforcement officers note.

It is noteworthy that under the sanctions of the articles, attackers face punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of up to 10 years .

Let us recall that non-transparent instruments, such as the absorption of competitors, pressure on small businesses and lobbying at the highest level, are used in the world to form cement monopolies , which subsequently begin to dictate their own terms and prices. All this gives industrial giants the opportunity to earn super profits. There are many similar cases in Europe and the USA, and against the backdrop of war, the domestic construction industry is also vulnerable to such actions. Thus, the Irish CRH is striving to “cement” the largest share of the Ukrainian building materials market.
