They want to spend 10 million UAH for consultation on the restoration of Okhmadet: who is the contractor

Some very alarming news for taxpayers has arrived. It turned out that about 9 million 350 thousand UAH will be spent on consultation on the restoration of the modern building of the NDSL “Okhmatdyt”, damaged as a result of the Russian attack on July 8.

It is important to immediately say that at the moment the only company that applied for participation in the tender and won it was VASENEV ENGINEERING LLC.

This became known thanks to information that was published on the public procurement portal Prozorro.

The tender noted that VASENEV ENGINEERING LLC will provide consulting services of a certified expert on engineering and technical measures of civil protection for the restoration of the modern building of the Okhmatdet NDSL, damaged as a result of the Russian attack on July 8.

According to the information in the tender, 9 million 350 thousand UAH will be spent on these services, including the development of design documentation and the implementation of work on current repairs of buildings, although the expected cost was almost 9 million 700 thousand UAH.

The main tasks of the expert include:

1. Examination of urban planning documentation: checking compliance with legal requirements, building codes and regulatory documents on civil protection.
2. Comprehensive verification of documentation: analysis of engineering and technical measures of civil protection in project documentation.
3. Conducting examination of construction projects: checking compliance with civil protection requirements in construction projects, in particular for facilities with a large number of persons (more than 50 or 100) and critical infrastructure facilities.
4. Analysis and evaluation of information: using various methods to analyze and evaluate civil protection factors, making corrections to projects.
5. Preparation of reports and conclusions: drawing up expert reports and proposals for improving examination methods.

It was also noted that the need to involve such an expert will help ensure the safety of patients, workers and visitors to the hospital during construction work.

What is known about the selected contractor?

VASENEV ENGINEERING LLC with an authorized capital of 10 thousand hryvnia was registered in Kyiv in April 2023. According to data on the YouControl portal, the main activity of the contractor is the field of engineering, geology and geodesy, as well as the provision of technical consulting services in these areas.

Also, VASENEV ENGINEERING LLC is engaged in organizing the construction of buildings, activities in the field of architecture and direct construction - from residential buildings to roads and highways.

As for the services of a consulting engineer, the contractor performed such work in 2024 for the SBU Department in the Volyn region and the Raukhiv village council in the Odessa region.
