Olga Peschanskaya, currently the head of the Antimonopoly Committee, will likely be appointed as the new head of the State Property Fund.
As noted, Peschanskaya, who is currently the head of the Antimonopoly Committee, will become the head of the State Property Fund instead of Rustem Umerov.
As already reported, next week there may be two appointments in the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine - a new Minister of Defense and a Minister of Culture. Thus, it is planned that the president will submit to the Verkhovna Rada a proposal to dismiss Defense Minister Alexei Reznikov and propose a new Minister of Defense - the current head of the State Property Fund, Rustem Umerov.
In addition, parliament can appoint a new minister of culture and information policy. UP sources call Yulia Fediv, who headed the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation, a potential candidate for this position.
Let us recall that earlier the Ministry of Defense and its head Alexey Reznikov were accused of purchasing summer jackets instead of winter ones at an inflated price. After this, the head of the department proposed a couple to journalist Mikhail Tkach and people’s deputy Anastasia Radina and promised to resign if this turned out to be true. Tkach, in turn, said that Reznikov should have resigned from his position even after the investigation into the Ministry of Defense’s purchase of eggs at 17 UAH apiece. And after publishing about winter jackets for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, report to the meeting of the Verkhovna Rada committee.
