The deputy director of the State Bureau of Investigation lives in an apartment worth 900 thousand dollars, details of the scandalous investigation

In 2022, this apartment cost at least 900 thousand dollars, but there is one caveat

Deputy Director of the State Bureau of Investigation and Head of the Main Investigation Department of the State Bureau of Investigation, Alexander Udovichenko, lives in one of the most elite residential complexes in the capital - Regent Hill. What is noteworthy is that his declaration contains no information about this property.

This is stated in the hromadske investigation. According to the declaration, Udovichenko rents an apartment in the Goloseevsky district of Kyiv, not far from the Vasilkovskaya metro station. This is another elite residential complex Park Avenue VIP.

During their investigation, journalists recorded a Toyota Camry company car with cover plates leaving the parking lot of the Regent Hill residential complex in Pechersk. After some time, the car drove into the GBR building.

“On Monday morning, a Toyota Camry with cover plates leaves the underground parking lot of this residential complex and heads... to the State Bureau of Investigation. The gate for the car is raised in advance, and security comes out to greet you. All these honors, according to hromadske, are for the first deputy director of the State Bureau of Investigation and head of the Main Investigation Department, Alexander Udovichenko,” the investigation says.

It is noted that Udovichenko does not have real estate in the Regent Hill residential complex, and also does not have any in Kyiv. At the same time, the apartment in the Regent Hill residential complex is registered in the name of a close relative of his chosen one, Kristina Kopach, Irina. This is probably her aunt.

The woman bought an apartment in the Regent Hill residential complex with an area of 125 square meters in October 2022. The market value of real estate of this size in this residential complex starts from 37,000,000 hryvnia - 900,000 dollars. In 2022, this apartment cost at least 900 thousand dollars. The contract states that Irina bought the apartment for 1,900,000 hryvnia. That is, 50 thousand dollars were paid instead of the real market 900 thousand dollars.

Journalists also report that Irina lives and works as a cosmetologist in Odessa.

It is noted that only a plot of land near the village of Roslavichi, Kyiv region, is officially registered in Udovichenko’s name. But not in an expensive cottage town, which has appeared in other anti-corruption investigations, but on a deserted slope, where there is no real estate or infrastructure.
