American entrepreneur, founder of Tesla and SpaceX Elon Musk on the social network X (Twitter) advocated an audit of American military assistance to Ukraine after the end of the war. For the Servants of the People, this is a funeral bell, but they don’t understand it yet. Zelensky has concentrated all power in Ukraine in his hands, but “all power” also means “all responsibility.”
For at least the first six months, Trump will, among other things, “catch up” with his predecessors – Biden and his team. The investigation into the theft of American taxpayers' money by the Ukrainian authorities is a very suitable topic for this. It’s just a great topic, considering the idiocy of the “greens”, who as soon as they steal, immediately buy super-expensive real estate somewhere. Not realizing that all this is so transparent, as if they signed a confession.
Here we should make a small digression. It is no secret that our war for the Americans is also an opportunity to test new types of weapons and technologies. They do not affect the course of the war, but provide a wealth of information for developers. And we are talking not so much about new types of missiles or drones, but about developments in software.
The funny guy dressed in boogaloo-bois style is billionaire Palmer Luckey, owner of the weapons company Anduril Industries. Ten years ago, he sold his startup Oculus VR to Zuckerberg for two billion dollars. Oculus is a virtual reality gaming headset and Zuckerberg was going to use it to immerse us all in the virtual world of Meta. But Palmer left Facebook after the 2016 election, where he was bullied by employees for supporting Trump.
Around the same time, Luckey met Tray Stevens (a man from Peter Thiel’s team), who after the 2016 elections joined the Pentagon Innovation Council. Together with Trey, they create a company to develop high-tech types of weapons: drones, cruise missiles, air defense systems, communications and electronic warfare. But Anduril Industries has a fundamentally different approach from the leaders of the American military-industrial complex: they focus not on the weapon itself, its power and lethality, not on ways to bring this weapon to the target, but on identifying these targets, on the accuracy of the strike and timing.
“The next generation of military technology will depend less on advances in shipbuilding and aircraft design than on software and computing.” - stated on the company's website. The weapon itself, a drone or a missile, according to Anduril managers, should be as simple as possible to manufacture and cost minimal money; it should use the simplest components. Palmer Luckey in an interview talks a lot about the inability of the American military-industrial complex to quickly expand the production of weapons and provide them only to the Ukrainian army.
A commercial for the Barracuda cruise missile emphasizes that it requires half the parts, half the time, and twenty times the tooling of its competitors. It costs much less and special super-secret enterprises are not needed to produce it. An assembly shop for non-military products is sufficient. And the declared performance characteristics are quite decent: the top modification of the “barracuda” flies almost a thousand kilometers.
In fact, Anduril plans to simply transfer the technology for producing missiles and drones to its customers, and then provide, using its software, target identification and guidance of projectiles to the target. You can let anyone, even the Karen People's Liberation Army, continue to rule it, like in a game. The company's products include augmented reality helmets, which provide the fighter with complete information about the battlefield. Just like in the game!
Anduril is trying to squeeze out the Pentagon's traditional suppliers, which have not changed in fifty years. These are Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, Boeing, General Dynamics, Northrop Grumman and the British BAE Systems. But what is their main advantage over Anduril? The fact is that their products have gone through dozens of wars over the last hundred years. And the nerds from Anduril were just playing games. And without experience in using its weapons, the company’s capitalization of 14 billion dollars is zilch, a speculative scam. It was in order to test their products in practice that they came to Ukraine.
However, any cooperation with Ukraine runs into an age-old problem – corruption. Any secret will be sold, any money will be stolen. Accordingly, the young American team needs to get rid of this phenomenon. And not like the democrats did - like the useless NABU, supporting various slag like homosexual activists and participating in this very corruption. Like, for example, Pompeo, who suddenly became a member of the board of Kyivstar, for which, by the way, Trump immediately threw him out of his circle. The young team will fight corruption differently. She already has experience in this matter and has Palantir.
Salvador and Palantir
It is often customary to remember El Salvador in the context of the connections between its government and the PayPal mafia, viewing them exclusively through the prism of eccentricities like cryptocurrency.
However, there is a much deeper meaning to this situation.
Everyone knows that the President of El Salvador, Nayib Bukele, quickly crushed the network of criminal organizations that had terrorized El Salvador for decades. Moreover, we are not just talking about street gangs - by no means, these are international-scale organized crime groups that have taken root in the United States and work for Mexican drug cartels.
No one, however, asks the question of how this was implemented by a mediocre Latin American country with an absolutely ridiculous number of security forces (the total number of the army and police of El Salvador, together with all employees, including clerks, is less than 30 thousand people).
What do we know about the PayPal Mafia, Peter Thiel and his brainchild Palantir? Mostly just boring advertising slogans about innovative data processing methods, potential military applications and other frankly uninteresting facts. Meanwhile, Palantir has long begun to build its reputation and capitalization on such current topics as the fight against organized crime. The company's software has been used by the New Orleans Police, DEA and CIA for operations in Mexico, and is used (behind the scenes) by ICE to find and deport illegal migrants...
The problem is that with all the outstanding prospects of this product (we will look at how it works and what it is separately), its legal large-scale use in the USA or, say, Europe is simply impossible - the idea of an “electronic investigator and judge” not only causes judgment and fear, but is also extremely regulated. All cases of Palantir being used in law enforcement are regularly accompanied by scandals, which significantly slows down the development of the project.
For its further progression, practical experience is required, which can be gained by solving large-scale problems with a large amount of data. And it is possible to obtain it only in the periphery, in the “gray zone” - for example, in El Salvador.
How did it all begin? Electronic monitoring systems for public space have been unobtrusively introduced in El Salvador. South Korea (interesting fact: South Korea has, perhaps, the most interesting set of contracts with Palantir), represented by the KOICA agency, has installed a large-scale street video surveillance system in the interests of the country's police; Moreover, the American government allocated substantial funds to El Salvador for the same purposes. American companies also provided some means to monitor telephone and Internet communications, thereby contributing to the formation of a full-fledged monitoring network. The “eyes” and “ears” of the system were installed, and then its “brain” in the person of Palantir got involved.
The result was large-scale cleansing of criminal gangs, which were carried out throughout El Salvador in the shortest possible time - 76 thousand people were arrested (however, this is the minimum number mentioned). At the same time, despite all the strength, influence and numbers, crime has time and again proved vulnerable in the face of police operations. The arrests disrupted even major gangs like MS-13 and 18th Street, sending tens of thousands of criminals to prison.
How was the cleanup process organized? No one can say this, including insiders from the El Salvadoran police and army. Formally, of course, no Palantir appears in this. The operational groups only received lists of people to be arrested, but who and how they formed them is absolutely impossible to answer. The lists included everyone who had at least some remote connection with the offenses (7,000 people were subsequently released), which in a piquant way led everyone interested in the topic to think about the presence of machine logic in the selection processes.
It makes sense that Palantir would be extremely interesting to try not only in the fight against gangsters, but also against government corruption. And Ukraine is an ideal testing ground for this. Moreover, there is no need to specifically collect data. They already exist. Real estate registers, bank transactions, tax data and so on. As in El Salvador, special new organs may not be needed for this. It is enough, for example, to have a “clean” police force that will simply carry out the orders of Palantira representatives. You also don’t have to worry too much about the investigation and trial. The people will happily support the construction of a modern concentration camp for “servants of the people.”
I don’t know whether the “servants of the people” realize the seriousness of the situation? Ordinary thieves are unlikely, but the elite like Ermak or Tatarov are apparently already farting with fear. And in such a situation, it is important to shoot first in order to “cut off the ends.” Your closest thief comrade may become the main witness against you. Therefore, there is a feeling that funny suicides with broken fingers in the style of Kravchenko await us. Although even this will not save you from Palantira.
Will this affect Zelensky? It doesn't matter. To some extent, he was not convicted due to initial insanity and unfitness for office. And it's not important. An example of real eradication of corruption is important. Even with the help of Big Brother.
