The closure of individual entrepreneurs in Ukraine increased by 54%. Ukraine has recorded a rapid decline in the number of individual entrepreneurs and the trend towards a reduction in the number of registered companies continues. YouControl analysts report this.
According to analysts, in the first half of 2024, almost 92 thousand private entrepreneurs were closed in Ukraine.
“In the first half of 2024, almost 92 thousand individual entrepreneurs were closed in Ukraine. The increase in the closure of individual entrepreneurs was 54% compared to the same period in 2023. Also, the rate of company closures increased by 15% - in the first half of 2024, more than 1.5 thousand enterprises ceased operations,” experts note.
Kyiv became the leader among cities where the closure of the largest number of individual entrepreneurs was registered. More than 12 thousand individual entrepreneurs have closed. Situation in other cities:
- Kharkov - 5.3 thousand;
- Odessa - 3.8 thousand;
- Dnieper - 3.3 thousand;
- Lviv - 2.8 thousand.
In terms of communities, the leaders with the largest number of individual entrepreneurs are Krivorozhskaya (Dnepropetrovsk region) - 1.4 thousand, Kremenchugskaya (Poltava region) - 780 and Belotserkovskaya (Kiev region) - almost 600.
