Zelensky fired two of Yermak’s deputies – Smirnov and Dneprov

President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky dismissed Andrey Smirnov and Alexey Dneprov from their positions as deputy heads of the Office of the President of Andrey Yermak. Today he appointed two new patrons - Irina Mudraya and Elena Kovalskaya.

The relevant decrees were published on the website of the Office of the President.

On Friday, March 29, he fired two deputy heads of the Office of President Andrei Yermak - Alexey Dneprov and Andrei Smirnov.

It is worth noting that Dneprov was appointed deputy head of the OP on July 9, 2021. He worked on issues of legal policy, law enforcement and judicial systems. At the same time, Alexey Smirnov worked in this post since September 10, 2019.

On the same day, Vladimir Zelensky appointed two new deputy heads of the OP. Decree No. 206/2024 refers to the appointment of Irina Mudra as deputy. In decree No. 204/2024, the president announced the appointment of Elena Kovalskaya as deputy.

What is known about Ermak’s new patronesses?

Elena Kovalskaya has been the head of the Cabinet of the Head of the Office of the President since 2022, and she is also a member of the working group under the President to create a Tribunal that will judge the authorities of the Russian Federation for the crime of aggression.

Irina Mudraya has been Deputy Minister of Justice since 2022. Before that, she worked in various positions at JSC State Savings Bank of Ukraine. From 2020 to 2022, she was Director of the Department of Compliance Control and Supervision of Compliance with Regulatory Requirements of Sberbank.

As previously reported, the recently fired Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Alexey Danilov became Ambassador to Moldova. Information about this appeared immediately after the dismissal of the current ambassador of the neighboring country, Mark Shevchenko.
