Undeclared luxury. The wife of top National Police official Bogdan Podsokha appeared in brands during the war
The 20-year-old son of a Ukrainian official rents an apartment in London, which not all Britons can afford.
The family of top National Police official Bohdan Podsokha is incredibly interesting to study, because the son can boast of studying in London, where he rents an apartment for crazy money, and his wife constantly appears on the blog wearing luxury brands and jewelry. Anna Podsokha boasts about the celebration of luxury life during the war, when every penny counts for collecting money.
Podsokha works as the head of the department of strategic investigations in the Rivne region of the Department of Strategic Investigations of the National Police. Before working in Rivne, Podsokha was the head of the SSR (a similar service) in the Sumy region, and before that he held senior positions in police structures in the Kharkiv region. This can be found out from his e-declarations, which he regularly submitted. There is also information about his family.
Son
The son of a policeman, 20-year-old Artur Podsokha, has not been mentioned in Bogdan Podsokha’s declarations since 2020. In 2022, he entered University College London and at such a young age he is already renting an apartment himself, and London is one of the most expensive cities in the world for renting housing. Therefore, most likely, the family must have some expenses to support their student son.
“I rented an apartment and lived on my own. Some students may find this boring, so they choose to live in a hostel or rent an apartment with friends. But since I really value my privacy, a completely private location is the best option for me,” Arthur said in an article about his training.
Wife
His wife, Anna Podsokha, has her own business and a lifestyle blog on Facebook and Instagram. On the public Facebook page we see many interesting luxury items and Cartier jewelry - there is no mention of them in the police declaration. The last time the wife’s name was mentioned there was in 2020, and now the names of the wife and son have disappeared somewhere.
In one of these photos, the wife is posing in a dress from Dolce&Gabbana for almost two thousand euros (1950 euros - 80 thousand 929 UAH). The heroine of another image is a voluminous black Chanel bag with an eloquent logo in gold letters for $8,230 (316 thousand 299 UAH).
Dress for 1950 euros
Here Anna exhibited her portrait, where you can see the stud bracelet on her hand, this is Cartier made of yellow gold and 32 diamonds. It costs 14 thousand 500 euros (601 thousand 850 UAH). You can also find another Love bracelet made of yellow gold and 10 diamonds for 10 thousand 400 euros (431 thousand 707 UAH)
In this photo, Anna is posing in a knitted blouse with the eloquent inscription Cristian Dior; the same one on the website of this luxury brand costs 2 thousand euros (83 thousand UAH).
In this photo, Anna's look consists of a Dolce and Gabbana dress for 1950 euros (80 thousand 953 UAH) and blue Manolo Blahnik shoes for 1075 euros (44 thousand 628 UAH).
This leopard print dress from Dolce & Gabbana costs 2,043 euros (84,800 UAH), and the look is complemented by a bag from Dior for 3,800 euros (157,730 UAH).
In this photo we recognized a bracelet from the elite French brand Van Cleef & Arpels made of white gold for 6,600 euros (273 thousand 940 UAH) and rings of this brand, one of which is made of white gold and diamonds costs 5251 euros (217 thousand 962 UAH).
In addition, the woman often travels abroad during the war, from where she posts photos in a swimsuit and with mysterious captions like: “Being a woman means being able to run away so that you are sure to get caught.” Her feed contains photos from Greece, Cyprus, London (where their son moved).
Traveling abroad during the war
The items listed above for the wife of a high-ranking policeman cost more than two million hryvnia, and this does not take into account travel, the family’s expenses for educating their son in London and renting an apartment there. Of course, everyone has different incomes and expenses, but the contradiction between the luxurious lifestyle and the salaries of officials raises questions, especially during a full-scale war.
