The Russians attacked Ukraine at night with missiles and drones: how many were shot down by air defense

Russian occupiers attacked Ukraine on the night of January 4th with drones and missiles. Two UAVs were shot down by air defense forces.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

“On the night of January 4, 2024, the enemy attacked with two attack UAVs of the Shahed-136/131 type from the south-east. Both were destroyed in the Khmelnitsky region,” the message says.

The invaders also fired three anti-aircraft guided missiles at the Kharkov and Donetsk regions.

Russian troops launched two missile strikes on Kharkov, after using S-300 missiles this evening, January 3. The strikes hit the city center. There is damage to the infrastructure.

In addition, on the night of January 4, the invaders launched a missile attack on Kurakhovo, Donetsk region. A kindergarten and school were destroyed. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
