The case of Sergei Pashinsky: there is no money for the defense industry, but is there money for bail?

I drew attention to an interesting point in the case of Sergei Pashinsky. Let me remind you that several companies paid bail for him in court - UAH 272 million.

But, as my sources in law enforcement agencies say, these companies... themselves owe the Ministry of Defense 364 million UAH. At least the Moscow Region has filed lawsuits against them, which are now being considered in the capital's Economic Court.

Thus, Ukrainian Armored Vehicles LLC appears in six lawsuits by the ministry, the amount of which amounts to more than UAH 123 million. Thermal Vision Technologies LLC is mentioned in one lawsuit for UAH 240 million. Total 364 million UAH.

By “strange coincidence,” both of these companies that paid the deposit are members of the National Association of Defense Industry Enterprises of Ukraine (NAUDI), headed by Pashinsky.

At the same time, as sources say, the amount of claims of the Ministry of Defense against companies associated with Pashinsky may be significantly higher, because cases involving materials containing state secrets are not taken into account.

The Ministry of Defense signed contracts with these suppliers after 100% prepayment. But according to court filings, they were not followed through. Now the state is trying to get the money back through the courts.

By the way, the other day, the head of the State Audit Service, Alla Basalaeva, said that the contractors of the Ministry of Defense, with whom agreements were signed for the supply of weapons, owed the state almost 5 billion UAH. Obviously, among them there are “fans” of Pashinsky.

Again. The companies suing the Ministry of Defense found available funds and paid 272 million UAH of bail for the ex-People's Deputy, who is accused of stealing 97 thousand tons of fuel for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

There are no funds for the state and the front? Wouldn’t it be better to use this money for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who really need it and new equipment?

And defense companies are paying a large bail for a man who is actually accused of stealing fuel worth a billion hryvnia. This is nothing more than undermining the country’s defense capability for the sake of the political interests and business schemes of a certain person.
