A customs declaration for almost 10 thousand missing first aid kits for the Armed Forces of Ukraine was found in the Lviv region

Journalists discovered a customs declaration for the import of almost 10 thousand tactical first aid kits, which disappeared in Lviv in November 2022. This is the first documentary evidence that the recipient of the humanitarian cargo was directly the Lviv Regional Military Administration.

The disappearance of an important humanitarian cargo became publicly known in July 2023. At the time, OVA denied that it had received a shipment of tactical first aid kits.

However, Andrey Dyda, a representative of the United Ukrainian American Relief Committee, claimed that he personally saw boxes of first aid kits in one of the warehouses in Lviv, which was used by the humanitarian headquarters of the Lviv OVA.

Later, Andrei Dyda, who could have become one of the key witnesses, died.

A copy of the customs declaration indicates that the truck with first aid kits actually crossed the border on November 10, 2022, the recipient was the regional state administration, and the cargo itself was to be delivered to the address Lviv, st. Zemelnaya, 1, where at that time the humanitarian headquarters of the Lviv Regional State Administration was located.

As journalists note, the investigation has had no results for a year and a half. The police did not detain anyone and did not find the missing first aid kits. Almost a year after the crime, in September 2023, investigators received permission to search the warehouse to seize documents. Later, in November 2023, investigators received permission to seize and examine customs records for two Man trucks that were carrying humanitarian aid from the United Ukrainian American Relief Committee.

Earlier, a batch of approximately 10 thousand IFAK tactical first aid kits with a total value of 33.6 million UAH disappeared in Lviv. This humanitarian aid was purchased and sent by American volunteers to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
