The Servants of the People party congress will take place on December 14 . The event will be held online. They will elect a new chairman, terminate the powers of the members of the Political Council early and determine its quantitative composition.

The priority for the post of head of the party remains the candidacy of Yegor Chernev. Chernev has a British education, volunteered for the front in 2014, is the head of the Ukrainian delegation to the NATO parliamentary assembly, and has proven himself to be a strong opponent of Kolomoisky’s in the Verkhovna Rada.
However, there are other options. People's Deputy Lesya Zaburannaya, the head of the SN faction in the Kyiv City Council, and Deputy Minister of Education and Science Andrey Vitrenko are also vying for leadership of the party in power. Also among the applicants are Mikhail Radutsky and Alexander Kachura.
We previously wrote that Elena Shulyak will most likely lose her position as head of the pro-presidential Servant of the People party in a few weeks. There are several reasons for this: this is the actual stay of the leading political force in suspended animation, and the ambiguity of the person of Shulyak herself, who was struck by a loud scandal with the urban planning reform she initiated.
