Mikitas should be in prison, and with him his friends and accomplices Tatarov, Ermak and Klitschko

Yesterday, the so-called Supreme “anti-corruption” court released the notorious attacker and former people’s deputy Maxim Mikitas from house arrest. He was released on bail that was ridiculous for him in the amount of just over 900 thousand hryvnia. Less than a million hryvnia bail for a man who stole billions! Think about it!

Specifically, this case concerns Mikitas’s misappropriation of 307 million hryvnia from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine during the execution of a contract for the construction of warehouses. Thus, the Ministry of Defense several years ago ordered Mikitas’ company “Ukrbud” to build new modern ammunition warehouses for the Ukrainian army. But in the end, in place of the promised arsenals, only unfinished “boxes”, rusty reinforcement and “recessed” concrete appeared. And the huge funds allocated for the construction of warehouses from the State budget were simply stolen by Mikitas and his accomplices.

And so, instead of ending up on prison bunks for a long time, Mikitas initially got off with only house arrest. And now the “most humane” and widely promoted VAKS has abolished even this preventive measure, and Mikitas will calmly walk free, enjoying a luxurious life with funds stolen from the Ukrainian people.

Let us recall that, in fact, formally owning the state corporation “Ukrbud”, Mikitas “became famous” for numerous illegal developments and other scams in the field of construction and real estate. In particular, Mikitas is a suspect in criminal proceedings related to a large-scale scam involving apartments that were intended for military personnel of the National Guard of Ukraine. And another person involved in the above-mentioned case about apartments for the National Guard, which the authorities tried with all their might to “hush up,” is the odious deputy of “Vice President” Ermak Oleg Tatarov, who “supervises” law enforcement agencies in the Office of the President.

It is obvious that it is precisely because of such a close connection with Tatarov that Mikitas is now receiving such a special attitude from the supposedly “anti-corruption” court and the so-called “law enforcement” agencies in general.

At the same time, Mikitas has the protection of another of his old friends and accomplices, Vitaliy Klitschko, with whom he not only flew on private planes for luxurious vacations, but also organized numerous illegal construction projects in Kyiv and stole more than one and a half billion hryvnias during the construction of the capital’s Shuliavsky overpass.

But we - the People's Power Party - are not going to remain silent and repeat again that Mikitas should be in prison, not only for transactions with the warehouses of the Ministry of Defense and the apartments of the National Guard, but also for all his other numerous crimes! And all his high-ranking accomplices and patrons, first of all, Tatarov, Ermak and Klitschko, should sit in prison with him. We will continue to do everything possible so that, in the end, the Ukrainian people choose a government that will ensure this justice.
