Information that the “tender kings” of the Dnepropetrovsk region, the Dubinsky brothers (who are wanted for fraud by the US Federal Bureau of Investigation), are leaving our front-line region to settle in a calmer city, was confirmed this week. On January 30, under the spotlight, Vladimir Dubinsky and his business (Dmart) were presented as the title sponsors of FC Bukovyna in Western Ukraine in Chernivtsi.
“We already have the support of city authorities and local businesses. We will all try to achieve our goals together. For training of the main team, several training fields will be built in the near future and all the necessary changes will be made at the main arena of the city - the Bukovyna stadium,” Vladimir Dubinsky said in his speech to the press service of SFK Bukovyna.
For the Dnepropetrovsk region, this news suggests that the Dubinsky brothers, who spent billions from the budget and are involved in high-profile investigations, are gradually losing their influence in the region and choosing a new place for their activities. Quieter and further away from the front.
Chernivtsi, it seems, have not yet fully understood what gift was landing on them.
After all, according to the words about “sincere support for sports” and renovations at stadiums, purchases of local media, attempts to promote their people to local governments, a significant influence on the political structure in the region and, of course, the introduction of Dubinsky companies for contracts in the housing and communal services sphere will most likely follow. and construction, which they definitely should not be allowed to do.
People in Krivoy Rog know about this now. An example of poor quality work of a company from the Dubinsky orbit, namely TELLOR-GROUP LLC, was recently demonstrated by journalists of the Krivoy Rog portal “On the Hours”. After work on insulating residential buildings for 180 million hryvnia, the plaster began to simply peel off from them. And again no one answered for this. The last gift from the brothers? Quite possible.
There is another, more image-related aspect of the Dubinskys’ hasty move to Western Ukraine. After all, from the very beginning of the Russian invasion, we heard a lot about how much money the brothers received (and continue to receive) from the budgets of the Dnepropetrovsk region (and these are billions), how they buy foreign legionnaires for their teams for crazy money, but not a word about support The Armed Forces of Ukraine and the military or athletes and teams from our region. Not too patriotic. But this most eloquently characterizes the Dubinskys.
Do Chernivtsi need stadiums when the whole country and the military need drones - the question is, of course, rhetorical.
