He is accused of using illegal schemes when paying personal income tax (NDFL) from the sale of real estate.
On December 25, Christmas Day, the Pechersk court found people's deputy Viktor Myalik not guilty. He was suspected of tax evasion of more than 100 million UAH.100 million UAH.
This was announced by his lawyer Alexander Tananakin.
According to the prosecution, the deputy used illegal schemes when determining the tax base for taxation on personal income from the sale of real estate.
According to the calculations of law enforcement officers, for the years 2012-2019, the people's deputy underpaid more than 100 million UAH to the state budget.
The indictment states that during this period of time Myalyk sold real estate in apartment buildings in Petropavlovskaya Borshchagovka and Sofievskaya Borshchagovka near Kiev without registration.
The investigation notes that the deputy declared his income from sales as income of an individual from the sale of his own property, and paid only 5% instead of 18% of the value of the property.
According to the calculations of the investigation materials, Myalyk did not pay additional UAH 118 million in taxes to the budget of Ukraine.
However, the prosecutor was unable to prove the people's deputy's guilt and was released.
Let us recall that in 2019 Myalyk declared 158 apartments, garages, parking spaces and land plots in the Kiev-Svyatoshinsky district. It is interesting that with such a large amount of real estate in his property, for the year he received only 314,117 hryvnia as a MP’s salary.
