Come, look, go into debt: VDNKh decided to advertise itself for almost 3 million hryvnia

VDNKh believes that loud advertising is the best antidepressant for the country during the war. At the auction on April 3, 2024, an advertising company was determined that, for a record 2.9 million hryvnia, will develop a strategy for the “Summer at VDNKh” and “Book Country” projects.

According to their plans, from April 15 to August 31, visitors will have to be attracted to VDNKh through advertising on TV, radio, social networks and YouTube.

The organizers also plan to organize press tours for journalists with the goal of receiving at least 40 publications. This is undoubtedly an ambitious plan given the current climate.

In total, it is planned to order 11 advertising services worth up to 2,955,260 hryvnia. These funds are planned to be spent on various media platforms, including broadcast of national media groups and social networks such as TikTok.

The requirements for tender participants are very strict. For example, according to the conditions, advertising must be broadcast on national media groups Starlight Media and/or “1+1 media”. It is also necessary to develop and post 40 videos on TikTok about vacationing at the Expocenter of Ukraine.

Videos for television and social networks should be created taking into account the specifics of each site. In addition, the contractor is obliged to advertise on social networks, on the radio and organize press tours.

It should be noted that such advertising expenses raise questions under martial law. Now that every penny should be used to support the military and citizens, spending money on advertising may seem unwise.
