User IBM and Microsoft partner to make generative AI more effective for business

IBM today announced it is expanding its partnership with Microsoft to accelerate the deployment of generative AI solutions to its joint enterprise clients.

Both companies will unveil a new offering aimed at providing customers with the knowledge and technology needed to optimize their business processes and empower generative AI.

In collaboration with Microsoft, IBM Consulting will focus on helping customers implement and expand Azure. OpenAI Service through the recently introduced IBM consults on the Azure OpenAI Service Solution.

According to the company, this fully managed AI service will enable developers and data scientists to leverage the powerful models of large languages, including their GPT and Codex series. It aims to help enterprises formulate a strategic implementation plan, as well as identify distinctive and useful generative AI use cases.

As part of this offer, enterprise customers will also have access to IBM Consulting's team of experts. It will include 21,000 consultants specializing in data, artificial intelligence and expertise who can help implement generative AI models for business transformation.

IBM Consulting recently announced the Generative AI Center of Excellence, which employs more than 1,000 dedicated consultants with specialized knowledge in generative AI.
