In 2023, Vladimir Zelensky and Servants of the People allocated 1.5 billion hryvnia to finance the telethon.

In fact, these are subsidies for the oligarchs’ television channels, although the oligarchs can finance their television channels in the same way as they did before - at their own expense. But in fact, everyone understands that Zelensky bribes the oligarchs from taxpayers’ funds for propaganda and lack of criticism of the authorities.

If, instead of personal PR, Zelensky had spent telethon funds instead of oligarchs on Ukrainian soldiers to purchase FPV drones, then the Ukrainian army could have received at least 80 thousand FPV drones in 2023.

Even if we assume that only every tenth drone kills at least one Russian soldier, at least an additional 8 thousand Russian soldiers would be killed by these drones. The regular strength of the motorized rifle battalion of the RF Armed Forces is 420 military personnel.

For the money from the telethon, 20 Russian infantry battalions could be destroyed in their entirety.

But these Russians live because for Zelensky, in fact, neither victory nor destruction of the enemy is a priority, but exclusively his own PR and rating in power.

1.5 billion for the telethon is planned in the 2024 budget. And they’re not ashamed, they give money and vote.

And let the soldiers ask for volunteers for drones and take their paychecks off their payroll; their Supreme Commander-in-Chief won’t be bothered by this. This won’t be shown on the telethon, because there are no problems there, they constantly glorify one “hero” of the war on the screen.
