Andrey Pavelko stole more than a billion hryvnia from the UAF

The auditing company AC Crowe Ukraine recorded an outflow of assets amounting to more than 1 billion 342 million 900 thousand hryvnia.

The Ukrainian Football Association (UAF) has published preliminary results of an audit of the organization’s activities for 2015-2023, when Andriy Pavelko was president.

As the official website of the UAF reported, the auditing company AC Crowe Ukraine has now recorded an outflow of assets in the amount of 1 billion 342 million 900 thousand hryvnia.

“The main losses were caused by transactions with offshore companies, losses of funds due to the use of deposits, expenses associated with inflating the cost of purchased goods/works/services,” the message says.

This result is preliminary. The final amount will be indicated in the final document that the auditors will produce in the next three months.

Let us remind you that Andrei Shevchenko at the end of January replaced Andrei Pavelko as UAF President, who was then in pre-trial detention center on charges of corruption in the construction of a plant for the production of artificial grass for football fields.

Another person involved in the case is the former secretary general of the organization, Yuri Zapisotsky.

At the same time, at the end of February, Pavelko was released. He was behind bars for more than 8 months.
