The clerk of the OCU church, Roman Berezovsky, who was guilty of stealing a violin from a girl on the playground, was released by the Tlumatsky District Court of Ivano-Frankivsk. The court sentenced him to a year of probation instead of imprisonment.

As noted, on the morning of August 28, the clerk of the Frankivsk Church of All Saints of the Ukrainian Land (OCU), Roman Berezovsky, was in the city park next to the playground in the city of Tlumach near Ivano-Frankivsk.
He noticed a girl who was riding on a carousel and left the case with her violin on the bench. The accused stole a musical instrument from a child.
Berezovsky was found at home in a village near Tlumach, the man gave the violin to law enforcement officers.
During the trial, the accused admitted his guilt and said that he stole the instrument because he wanted to give a gift to his girlfriend. The mother of the injured girl said in court that there were no claims against the accused.
The case was considered by the court, which examined all the materials of the case and found the clerk guilty of committing theft, sentencing him to five years in prison. However, the court released him from serving his sentence with a one-year probationary period. An appeal may still be filed against the verdict.
