Deputy head of the State Tax Service of the Sumy region Alexey Mazurenko made an interesting financial transaction with the sale of a car.
On October 4, 2024, he received 820 thousand hryvnia from the sale of a 2016 BMW X5, which he purchased in 2021 for 520 thousand hryvnia. Despite the market value of such cars, which starts from 30 thousand dollars, the financial transaction looks very unusual.
Taking into account exchange rate differences, the purchase and sale prices differ significantly from market conditions. First, there was an undervaluation when buying, and then an overestimation when selling, but taking into account the current exchange rate.
It is also known that with an official salary of 320 thousand hryvnia per year, Mazurenko lives in a rented apartment of 95 square meters, which belongs to a person close to him. In this regard, it seems logical to switch to using the old AZLK-2140 vehicle.
