Israel announced the liquidation of another Hamas commander

Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesman Daniel Hagari said a senior Hamas commander was killed during an overnight Israeli airstrike in the Gaza Strip.

“We are intensifying attacks in the Gaza Strip to reduce threats to our forces in preparation for the next phase of the war,” an Israeli army spokesman said.

Hagari said dozens of Hamas members, including the deputy commander of the rocket site, were killed in Israel's overnight attacks.

As reported, on the morning of October 7, the Palestinian Islamist group Hamas launched an attack on Israel. The militants broke into the country, simultaneously launching a massive missile strike. The invasion was accompanied by massacres of civilians.

Israel officially declared a state of war, mobilized 300 thousand reservists and began to destroy military installations and terrorist leaders.

On October 14, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced the approach of a “new stage” of the war against the Hamas group.
