The Ministry of Social Policy has simplified the process of receiving social scholarships and social assistance.
Starting from January 1, 2024, Ukrainian students affected by hostilities will be able to receive social scholarships. This applies to students studying at a vocational higher education institution.
To receive a scholarship, it is necessary that a person was in Russian captivity, was imprisoned, or was otherwise deprived of freedom due to the war. Or he is a child of the above categories of people.
Thanks to this mechanism, people who have previously been captured, deprived of their freedom or their parents can receive help.
